The “Advancing Health Literacy to Enhance Equitable Responses to COVID-19 in Jacksonville’s Health Zone 1” (AHL Program) concluded its two-year grant term on June 30, 2023. The program, initiated by the City of Jacksonville in 2021 through funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health, brought together more than a hundred community-based organizations in collaboration for advancing health literacy in Duval County’s Health Zone 1.
