Behavioral and
Mental Health

Behavioral and mental health are critical factors that affect a community’s or individual’s well-being — the way one thinks, feels and acts. Behavioral health has more to do with the specific actions people take. It’s about how they respond in various scenarios. Mental health has more to do with thoughts and feelings. Tragic examples of consequences of behavioral or mental health illnesses are frequently experienced in our communities.

HPCNEF helps those experiencing behavioral or mental health illness by leveraging data, research and analysis regarding the instances of these illnesses, and establishes partnerships with local and regional support organizations to successfully connect individuals experiencing and recovering from behavioral and mental health conditions with these community-based resources.
