Through Healthcare Transparency\, Health Information Exchange\, Smart Alerts\, and a host of other innovative technology tools\, AHCA’s Bureau Chief for Health Information and Technology\, Jaime Bustos\, will provide an update on its mission to ensure better health care for all Floridians by improving access to health care data. \nJaime Bustos is the Bureau Chief of the Florida Center for Health Information & Transparency at the Agency for Health Care Administration. The Florida Center collects\, compiles\, and disseminates health related data and promotes the transparency of consumer health care information. He has been involved with health information technology and interoperability initiatives since joining the Agency in 2011. Jaime holds a bachelor’s in information technology and a certificate in Health Information Technology from Florida State University. Jaime is a devoted husband and loving father of two beautiful children. In his off hours you will find him enjoying time with his family or looking for his golf ball on a golf course. \n  \n🟢 REGIONAL UPDATE\nAbout PALS SkyHope\nMarilyn Pignataro\, Outreach Relationship Manager\nPALS SkyHope \nAccess to quality healthcare can be an enormous challenge\, especially for patients and families who need care far from home\, who live in rural areas\, or who are on a limited income. In this presentation\, you will learn about an organization that provides free flights to medical care. They have flown more than 31\,000 missions since they opened in 2010. \n \nMarilyn Pignataro is the Outreach Relationship Manager for PALS SkyHope. She guides patients and families through their first PALS flight and leads a team of volunteer ambassadors.
